Local promoters Signature Riff have sadly called it quits after 8 years of bringing amazing shows to our area, and booking some killer acts in the process, like Malokarpatan, Horna, Acherontas, Rawhide, Hellgoat, Viking, PanzerBastard, Satanik Goat Ritual, and much more, including all the bands that took part in their flagship ‘Martyrdoom Fest,’ which brought us the likes of Mournful Congregation, Sargeist, Behexen, Bombers, One Tail One Head, Cult of Fire, and others. Needless to say, the list goes on and on.

As their final gigs, Signature Riff took over Brooklyn Bazaar for a two-day gathering on November 16 and 17, featuring headlining sets from Swedish death / doom metal conjurers Runemagick (marking their first-ever North American show) and Schirenc plays Pungent Stench – aka guitarist / vocalist Martin Schirenc‘s version of Austrian gore metallers Pungent Stench – (also an exclusive, one-off performance). NYC / NJ death metal bands Evoken, Morpheus Descends, and Siege Column rounded out the bill. GA / CA deadly doom duo Encoffination were also scheduled to play, though they were forced to cancel their appearance due to an unforeseen flight cancellation.
