Supporting their newest studio album on Spinefarm titled In Our Wake, Orange County metalcore favorites Atreyu brought their ongoing headlining tour of North America to New York City’s Gramercy Theatre on November 27th.
A sold out crowd erupted for Atreyu hits like “Becoming the Bull,” “Ex’s and Oh’s,” “Do You Know Who You Are?,” and “The Crimson,” and went wild for fresh songs “Anger Left Behind,” “The Time Is Now,” and a few others. Known for their up close and personal shows, the band constantly made their way into the crowd to rage with fans. Additional highlights from their set include cover songs “Never Gonna Give You Up” (Rick Astley) and “You Give Love a Bad Name” (Bon Jovi), along with a rendition of “Bleeding Mascara” with Spencer Charnas (Ice Nine Kills), and closing track “Lip Gloss and Black” with Matty Mullins (Memphis May Fire).
The tour runs through December 14 in Anaheim, CA; all upcoming shows are listed here. Atreyu are also scheduled to take part in ShipRocked in early 2019. Live shots from NYC, including snaps of openers Memphis May Fire, Ice Nine Kills, and Sleep Signals, continue below.
