Sworn Enemy dropping new LP, playing BK record release show

Sworn Enemy by Derek Soto

New York City’s own metal/hardcore crew Sworn Enemy have set April 5th (via M-Theory Audio) as the official street date for their new full-length album (the follow-up to 2014’s Living on Borrowed Time) dubbed Gamechanger. Machine Head‘s Robb Flynn produced the effort, while Zack Ohren (Suffocation, Fallujah, Warbringer) engineered, mixed and mastered it.

“The new album is savage as fuck,” declared vocalist Sal Lococo. “Now it’s time to get back out on the road and show everyone how fucking great this new shit is!” A teaser for the 11-track LP can be streamed at the end of this post. Fans can expect to hear the first single next month.

To celebrate the release of Gamechanger, Sworn Enemy will take on Brooklyn’s The Kingsland for a record release bash on April 26, featuring support from PAHC act Mushmouth [TIX].

Sworn Enemy also play ‘Pagoda Metal Fest‘ (w/ Soulfly, Kataklysm, Incite + more) in Reading, PA at Reverb on February 9.
