Okilly Dokilly add dates to ‘Reneducation Tour’ w/ Playboy Manbaby

Okilly Dokilly live at Gramercy Theatre in 2017 by Johnny Perilla

The world’s only “Nedal” band Okilly Dokilly (who last summer underwent a drastic lineup change) recently announced plans to release a new album titled Howdilly Twodilly on March 29th. The LP follows 2016’s Howdilly Doodilly, and features the new single “Reneducation” (stream embedded below).

“We hope all our neighborinos out there are prepared for “Reneducation,” said Head Ned via a press release when the track officially dropped last week. “We’re more excited than Rod and Todd on a pixie stick bender to be releasing it. We hope it brings everyone a little closer to Ned.”

Speaking about the upcoming record, Head Ned commented, “On making the album – us Neds locked ourselves in the studio like we were waiting for a comet to hit Springfield. We shut the purple drapes, tuned the guitars to drop-diddly, floored the Geo and made one brutalino set of tunes. Howdilly Twodilly will hopefully take us one step closer to our ultimate goal of total global Reneducation. We’ll have universal socially owned power tools and a much more even ratio of left-handers to right-handers at 100% to 0%. Making Howdilly Twodilly was a real treat for us Neds and we hope everyone will enjoy the required seven listens per day.”

Additionally, Okilly Dokilly recently kicked off their ‘Reneducation Tour’ with Phoenix’s Playboy Manbaby. The trek consisted of mostly west coast dates at time of announcement. A batch of new east coast shows have just surfaced, including two NY stops: Manhattan at Arlene’s Grocery on April 12 [TIX], and Long Island at Amityville Music Hall on April 13 [TIX]. There’s also a Teaneck, NJ gig on April 14.

All upcoming dates are listed below.

UPDATE: Full Okilly Dokilly tour dates were announced today (2/8), which also includes Bear Ghost in select markets. Full details below.
