Michigan electronic/rock act I See Stars recently concluded a brief east coast run featuring completely unplugged sets in eight exclusive markets, including Brooklyn at The Kingsland last Friday, February 22.
The intimate gathering saw I See Stars perform a ten-song set featuring raw cuts off their latest record, Treehouse (2016), like “Running With Scissors,” “Two Hearted,” “Everyone’s Safe in the Treehouse,” and “Calm Snow.” The band mixed in 3D (2009) hit “What This Means to Me,” plus the title-track from New Demons (2013), along with Daughter, Hozier and Disclosure cover songs. Check out some shots, complete setlist info, and fan-filmed footage from the show below.
In related news, I See Stars recently announced a limited crossover tour with LA DJ Kayzo, plus Our Last Night, Crankdat and more in select markets. Queens, NY’s Knockdown Center will host the run on April 6 [TIX].
