Convulse reveal ‘World Without God US Tour 2019’

Finnish death metal veterans Convulse will embark on their ‘World Without God US Tour 2019’ this summer, heading out on shows in LA, Chicago and New York City.

The trek sees the band performing a set filled with tracks from their 1991 full-length album on Thrash Records, World Without God. Exact dates on the run are as follows:

July 5, 2019 – Los Angeles, CA @ 5 Star Bar (w/ Unholy Lust, Ruin, Malignant, Depraver) [TIX]

July 6, 2019 – Chicago, IL (as part of ‘Metal Threat Fest 2019‘) [TIX]

July 7, 2019 – Brooklyn, NY @ Brooklyn Bazaar (w/ Embalmer, Immortal Suffering) [TIX]

Speaking on why the tour is so brief, vocalist and guitarist Rami Jämsä said, “I know there is more interested in Convulse, but we are pushing to our time limits. There is no chance to do long tours. We should record a new album and we have day jobs and families. Not so easy to be a rock star at the age of 45. Maybe 2020?”

In more news, Convulse are currently working on a new LP, the follow-up to 2016’s Cycle of Revenge (Svart Records). The band recently released a live rehearsal stream for new song, “Deathstar.” “It’s recorded with a 8 track minidisc recorder. 5th Convulse album comes closer song by song,” they stated.
