One Ok Rock

Tokyo rockers One Ok Rock are presently on the road in North America on their “Eye of the Storm Tour,” having kicked off the trek last month in Salt Lake City, UT and with the run scheduled to conclude at the end of this month in Honolulu, HI.

New York City hosted the tour at Hell’s Kitchen Terminal 5 this past Tuesday (March 5th), where hundreds of hardcore fans of the Japanese quartet gathered to hear new One Ok Rock tunes like “Push Back,” “Change,” “Unforgettable,” “Head High,” “Stand Out Fit In,” “Grow Old Die Young,” and closer “Wasted Nights,” from the band’s ninth studio album, Eye of the Storm, which they unleashed a month ago via A-Sketch / Fueled by Ramen (earning them the number one spot on the Japanese Oricon Albums Chart).

Currently consisting of vocalist Takahiro Moriuchi, guitarist Toru Yamashita, bassist Ryota Kohama and drummer Tomoya Kanki, the group also performed tunes from 2013’s Jinsei×Boku= and 2017’s Ambitions, including top songs such as “The Beginning,” “We Are,” “Clock Strikes,” “Take What You Want,” and more. Planted in-between the band’s 14-song rager was an instrumental track, fresh for this tour.
