Dysrhythmia recording new LP, playing Brooklyn gig w/ Stinking Lizaveta + more

Currently celebrating 20 years of existence, NYC-based prog metal trio Dysrhythmia (Gorguts, Behold the Arctopus) not too long ago performed a show at Brooklyn’s The Kingsland with Cleric, Pyrrhon and Oldest, a gig that saw Dysrhythmia showcasing new material.

“Thanks to everyone who came out to the shows this past weekend, and to our friends in Pyrrhon and Cleric for jamming with us,” said Dysrhythmia regarding the recent NYC show. “It was really fun to play this new stuff for the first time. We will enter the studio next month to record it all. Expect maximum heaviness this time.”

The recording process for Dysrhythmia 8th album, the follow-up to 2016’s The Veil of Control, has begun, as they officially announced last week that they’re in the studio as we speak. Stay tuned for more.

Additionally, Dysrhythmia have booked their second 2019 appearance at The Kingsland (and their only confirmed show right now), scheduled for June 6 and featuring opening sets by great acts Stinking Lizaveta, PAK, and Shardik. Tickets are HERE.

Related: Shardik also play The Kingsland on April 5, sharing the stage with Gargoyl (Revocation, Ayahuasca) and Feast of the Epiphany [TIX].
