Pagan Altar announce North American tour

UK doom metal vets Pagan Altar (ex-Hydra, Voice of Destruction, ex-Bloodstone, plus session members from Magic Circle, Cauchemar) have confirmed a brief North American tour for the summer, which they’ll follow with a pair of European festival appearances.

The run is in support of the reissue of Pagan Altar‘s 2004 album Lords of Hypocrisy, and 2005 LP Judgement of the Dead, which officially dropped today (4/17) via Temple of Mystery Records. “Both albums are reissued on CD format, deluxe vinyl versions, and audiophile cassettes,” states a press release. “Each CD version include a completely new remaster, complete layout redesign, rare photos, and exclusive liner notes by journalist Sarah Kitteringham.” Order here.

Back to the USA and Canadian trek, it features support from Cauchemar on all dates, and is scheduled to hit Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus (w/ Spite) on August 30 [TIX].
