Miss May I & The Word Alive to play their 2010 LPs in full on upcoming run

Miss May I live at Irving Plaza last Halloween by Johnny Perilla

Miss May I and The Word Alive have announced a summer North American tour together featuring a full performance of their 2010 LPs, Monument and Deceiver, respectively, at every stop on the trek. Afterlife and Thousand Below will provide opening support on the run.

“Miss May I’s sophomore album Monument was originally released in August, 2010 and proved to be a game-changing moment for a then young, up-and-coming metal band from Troy, OH,” reads a press release. ” The record spawned massive singles like “Relentless Chaos,” “Masses Of A Dying Breed” and “Our Kings” among other fan-favorites, garnered rave reviews from critics and ultimately catapulted the band onto the mainstage of the metal scene.”

“We’ve got a BANGER of a co-headliner with our longtime brothers in MISS MAY I this Summer,” says TWA on social media. “We’ve asked our friends in Thousand Below and Afterlife to join us on celebrating Deceiver and Monument in their entirety (plus some extras) 🤘🏼”

The outing hits NYC at Gramercy Theatre on July 20 [TIX], plus nearby Philly and Baltimore. Get a complete list of tour dates below.
