Spotlights release “Xerox” video

Brooklyn rockers Spotlights have just dropped a new music video for their fresh song, “Xerox” (stream it below), which comes off their new album, Love & Decay.

The clip is shot from the perspective of guitar player Mario Quintero (who also directed the video), and, as per a press release, “is a nod to ‘90s alt-rock videos.”

“The video loosely represents what ‘Xerox’ is about as a song. Poking fun and those who use facades in life or in music, as well as showing that you don’t have to take yourself so damn serious cause you make art,” says Quintero. “Where the song takes a more serious angle towards those who hide behind falsehoods while perpetuating hate and fear, the video provides some comic relief.”

Spotlights will support Love & Decay on a recently announced headline trip, with support from Vampyre on all dates. Catch the run at Brooklyn’s Sunnyvale (w/ The Austerity Program) on July 18 [TIX]. All tour dates can be viewed below.
