Basilysk reveal new video, hitting the road soon

Philly death metal cynics Basilysk recently unleashed (via Metal Injection) a brand new performance video for their latest single, “Sad State of Art” (stream it below), which comes off the band’s full-length debut (released earlier this year).

“If ‘Sad State Of The Art’ doesn’t make you move, you must not have a pulse,” says the band via a press release. “We created this music video with Liam McGlynn to showcase our live intensity, especially as we prepare to hit the road this summer. Special thanks to Ivan at the Building in Coplay, Pennsylvania, for allowing us to film in his DIY venue.”

In addition, Basilysk are getting ready to set out on a string of east coast tour dates, which includes shows with Necrosexual, and a stop at the previously mentioned two-day ‘Vado Mori’ showcase (from local promoters Stardust NYC), happening at Brooklyn Bazaar from July 4-5. Basilysk perform on Friday (7/5) with Dead Congregation, The Ruins of Beverast, Evoken and more. Tickets for the event are here (day 1) and here (day 2).
