Spread across three colossal stages donning monstrous PA systems, videos walls, rows of moving lights, huge smoke machines and more, the two-day cultural gathering featured huge sets from Jill Scott, GoldLink, Gary Clark Jr., FKA Twigs, Kamasi Washington, Santigold, Danny Brown and much more.
We caught most of Sunday’s Red Stage lineup which consisted of mosh-inducing sets from the likes of Death Grips, Ho99o9, Scarlxrd, Fire From The Gods, and Hyro The Hero. A slew of snaps can be viewed via the gallery below.
Next stop for Afropunk Fest is Atlanta, where the monumental movement occupies 87 Windsor Street on October 12th and 13th, featuring sets from Fever 333, Fantastic Negrito, Lucky Daye, and many more.
