Crobot

Supporting their recently released fourth studio full-length album dubbed Motherbrain, PA heavy rockers Crobot embarked on a string of Tri-state area album release gigs a few weeks back, hitting Teaneck and Asbury Park in NJ, Andreas in PA, and Brooklyn at Saint Vitus on August 22nd.

The NYC show saw Crobot perform plenty of new party grooves like “Keep Me Down,” “Burn,” “Drown,” “Alpha Dawg,” “Gasoline,” “Stoning the Devil,” “Blackout,” and “Low Life.” Select anthems off Something Supernatural and Welcome to Fat City kept the evening’s intensity at its highest, with a special cover of the Soundgarden track “Outshined” sending Greenpoint into madness.

We’ve got photos from the night, including shots of Fate’s Got a Driver (ft. former Taking Back Sunday guitarist Eddie Reyes) and Wake The Sun, plus a live clip, below.

Next up for Crobot, they’ll hook up with Steel Panther for scattered dates in the fall (more info).

Coming to Saint Vitus:

9/6 – As Cities Burn, All Get Out, Many Rooms [TIX]
9/7 – Nebula, Sasquatch, Mirror Queen, Geezer [TIX]
