Swedish metal warriors Amon Amarth are currently wrapping up the U.S. leg of their ‘Berserker World Tour,’ which is in support of the band’s recently released Metal Blade offering Berserker. The ongoing trek boasts stellar support in the form of Arch Enemy, At The Gates and Grand Magus.
Amon Amarth set New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom ablaze during their October 12th performance, with a sold out house rioting to huge AA favorites like “Death in Fire,” “First Kill” and “Guardians Of Asgaard” during the band’s main set, and going absolutely nuts for encore tracks “The Pursuit of Vikings” and “Twilight Of The Thunder God.” The rugged Swedes also caused havoc with a bunch of fresh tunes, like show starter “Raven’s Flight,” slow-building ripper “Fafner’s Gold,” the chuggy riff-filled “Crack the Sky,” and a few other new notes.
