Italian gothic metallers Lacuna Coil and Massachusetts headbangers All That Remains recently set out on a co-headline run through North America that kicked off at New York City’s Webster Hall last month and eventually concluded in Baltimore with help from Bad Omens and Uncured on all dates, plus Toothgrinder and Eximious in select markets.
Manhattan fans were treated to a Lacuna Coil setlist filled with big numbers like “Trip the Darkness,” “Our Truth,” “Spellbound,” “Heaven’s a Lie,” and “Nothing Stands in Our Way.” Being their first trip in support of their recently released album on Century Media, Black Anima, the Milan superheroes made sure to delight fans with a handful of fresh hits in the form of the hard-hitting “Layers of Time” and the equally ear-titillating “Reckless.”
All That Remains brought tunes from their latest release as well, commanding the crowd with numbers like “Fuck Love,” “Blood I Spill,” “Everything’s Wrong” and “Wasteland” off their very well received 2018 effort, Victim of the New Disease. Legendary favorites such as “This Calling,” “This Probably Won’t End Well,” “The Air That I Breathe,” “What If I Was Nothing?” and “Two Weeks” kept the pit moving throughout the evening.
