Revocation recently concluded a North American co-headlining tour with Voivod, which also featured support from Psycroptic, Skeletal Remains and Conjurer. The outing kicked off in Canada in September and made its final showing in NYC at the soon-to-close Brooklyn Bazaar on October 12th.
The journey saw Revocation dishing out their latest effort on Metal Blade Records, The Outer Ones, in full at every stop, pulling out rippers like “That Which Consumes All Things,” “Fathomless Catacombs,” “Vanitas,” and “Luciferous.” As a bonus, the band spewed out “Dismantle the Dictator” off 2009’s Existence Is Futile as their special set closer.
Voivod dismantled venues with a ten-set banger as well, kicking off their show with “Post Society” off their 2016 EP of the same name, and pushing on with big hits like “Psychic Vacuum,” “The Prow,” “The Unknown Knows,” and “Overreaction.” The Canadian metal vets also performed a pair of songs from their latest effort, The Wake, in the form of “Iconspiracy” and “The End of Dormancy.”
