British Lion releasing new LP, gearing up for U.S. tour

UK’s British Lion (ft. legendary Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris) are getting ready to unleash their second album, The Burning, on January 17th through Parlophone.

Since the LP’s announcement in late 2019, the band have released new singles “Lightning” and “The Burning,” which you can check out below.

“We’ve been working on The Burning for the past couple of years and everyone is really pleased with the results,” said vocalist Richard Taylor of the upcoming effort. “We started playing some of the songs live on recent tours and got a fantastic reaction from our fans so we are really excited to be sharing this album with the world. We’re also looking forward to heading out on the road again and seeing everyone at the shows.”

In support of the impending full-length, British Lion will set out on a U.S. jaunt starting this weekend in Florida. The run hits a total of 19 markets before closing out in NYC at Gramercy Theatre on February 20 [TIX]. All tour dates can be viewed below.

Additionally, Harris recently spoke with Heavy Consequence about the new record, early Iron Maiden shows and more — watch that interview HERE.
