Hampton, Virginia’s symphonic melodic death metal newcomers Foretoken have revealed their debut live shows scheduled for May and June. Additionally, the band have announced their expanded lineup, transitioning from a duo to a quintet.
Speaking on the upcoming concerts, Foretoken’s Steve Redmond (guitar and orchestration) states, “We’re stoked to finally be able to bring these songs to the stage! We think our newest members Chris, Andrew and Tweed are killer additions to the lineup and we’re excited for what’s to come!”
Dan Cooley (vocals) continues, “Andrew, Chris, and Tweed are not only cool to hang out with but are amazing musicians. We’re really looking forward to playing live and meeting our fans!”
Chris Hylton (drums) adds, “I was a fan of FORETOKEN before Steve asked me to join the band and these songs have been a blast to learn. I’m looking forward to helping bring the songs to the stage.”
Mike Tweed (bass) comments, “I am stoked to be jamming with Steve and Dan again as we bring symphonic death metal to the stage.”
Andrew Matthews (guitar) ends with, “I’m honored to be asked to bring Foretoken to the stage and look forward to playing many shows with these fine fellas.”
Foretoken will hit the road in support of their recently released album on Prosthetic Records, ‘Triumphs.’
