Heron descend into pure cataclysmic madness with new track “Death on the Malahat” (exclusive stream)

Vancouver sludgey doom metal quartet Heron are getting ready to release their new full-length album, ‘Time Immemorial,’ via Sludgelord Records on May 15th.

The follow-up to their 2018 LP debut dubbed ‘A Low Winter’s Sun,’ the forthcoming album was recorded earlier this year at Little Red Sounds Studios in New Westminster, BC, and is set to be released in limited edition 12″ vinyl (red & black splatter + standard black), on cassette, and digitally as well (pre-order here & here).

Heron previously unleashed Time Immemorial’s gloom-induced first single in the form of “Void Eater,” and today we are pleased to be premiering the impending effort’s second single, “Death on the Malahat,” a pummeling and agonizing 3-minute and 11-second deep-dive into untamed insanity.
