Kirk Arrington – known for his drum work with Metal Church, Garden of Eden and Vanderhoof – has sadly died at the age of 61. Metal Church posted the above photo and below message through their social channels earlier today, May 22nd:
“We just received the sad news, Kirk Arrington passed away this morning due to health issues. RIP in brother! See you on the other side….#RIP #legend #gonetoosoon #MetalChurch #drummer”
Kirk performed and recorded with Metal Church from 1981-1995 and again from 1998-2006, contributing to major hits like “Gods of Wrath,” “Fake Healer,” “Watch the Children Pray,” and “In Harm’s Way.”
