Rob “Bobeats“ Vitale (known for his vocal work with NYHC bands Black Train Jack and Nine Lives) reportedly died from COVID-19 on March 28th.
The hardcore world has reacted to the news, with NYHC vet Danny Diablo stating last night, “I am f**king so sad right now. Just found out my boy Rob Vitale from Black Train Jack has passed away today from COVID!!! He had a voice of an angel & a heart of gold!!! You will be missed Bobeats!!!”
Queens hardcore punks Sick of it All wrote, “Our hearts are heavy tonight. We lost our friend to Covid. Thinking of all the shows, the tours all the good times and laughs we shared. Rest In Peace Rob.”
Legendary NYC-based music production company, BNB Productions, said, “RIP TO our NYHC brother Bobeats. Condolences to all our friends and his family.”
