English heavy metal legends Saxon have recruited guitarist Brian Tatler (Diamond Head) for their upcoming tour dates this summer. Brian replaces guitarist and founding member Paul Quinn, who announced his retirement from touring last month.
Brian joins fellow guitarist Doug Scarratt, bassist Nibs Carter, drummer Nigel Glockler and vocalist Biff Byford for concerts beginning July 7th in Athens, Greece. It has been stated that Brian will continue to be a member of Diamond Head.
Byford comments on the news, “We welcome our good friend Brian Tatler aboard the Saxon battleship on our live journey across the World … Bring It On!!”
Saxon are hitting the road in support of their new covers album, ‘More Inspirations,’ through Silver Lining Music.
