Philly act Varials – consisting of Mitchell Rogers (vocals), Mike Foley (bass), James Hohenwarter (guitar), Shane Lyons (guitar), and Sean Rauchut (drums) – have announced their new album ‘Scars For You to Remember,’ which releases on October 14th through Fearless Records (pre-order). To coincide with the LP reveal, the band have uploaded their new music video for single “.50” — watch the clip below.
Here’s more from a release, “Here, the band cranks the knobs to 11 from start to finish. The utterly ferocious track will leave you exhausted, in a heap on the floor, clutching your chest, and gasping for breath. It’s really that good and that intense. With rapid fire riffing, guttural screams that could double as the soundtrack to your worst night terrors, and thunderous percussive thrust, the band clamps down on the jugular and never lets go.”
“‘.50’ is the perfect middle ground of where Varials has been, but where we’re going from a heavy aspect. It’s balls-to-the-wall chaos, but also controlled in a way I don’t think we’ve achieved before,” says Rogers.
