Alien Ant Farm share new single “Gaslighter,” announce video game appearance

Alien Ant Farm have released their new single, “Gaslighter,” alongside an official lyric video. The track arrives via Judge & Jury Records and is set to appear on the band’s upcoming album.

The song addresses manipulation, dishonesty and toxic relationships, with vocalist Dryden Mitchell drawing inspiration from Audioslave and Rage Against the Machine.

“With hints of Audioslave and Rage Against the Machine, we wrote a razor-edged gem that calls out the liars and manipulators in our lives,” Mitchell said. “Do the ones we love the most end up burning us all in the end? This anthem rocks steadily and races toward a hopeful resolution. Light the fuses and burn all the liars!”

Mitchell explained that the song initially developed around the idea of coded communication before the band settled on the more direct title “Gaslighter.”

The single continues Alien Ant Farm’s collaboration with Judge & Jury Records, whose production team includes Howard Benson, Neil Sanderson of Three Days Grace, Mike Plotnikoff and Joe Rickard.

“Gaslighter” will also be featured in Stage Tour, an upcoming rhythm-action video game from RedOctane Games. Scheduled for release December 10 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC, the game will feature more than 90 licensed songs, including music from Metallica, Slipknot, Megadeth, Ghost, Muse and others.

Alien Ant Farm are also continuing their fall tour, with upcoming U.S. dates followed by shows across the UK and Ireland. The schedule includes an October 24 appearance at Sick New World Texas in Fort Worth.
