As I Lay Dying have announced their new self-titled album, set for release February 5, 2027 through Napalm Records.
The band’s ninth studio album is being introduced with two new singles, “Polarized” and “Retribution,” both of which arrive with music videos. The former takes a more melodic approach, while “Retribution” leans into the faster and heavier side of the band’s sound.
“‘Polarized’ and ‘Retribution’ show two very different sides of what we’ve been creating,” the band said. “One leans more melodic, while the other is darker, faster, and heavier, with much of the record living somewhere between the two.”
As I Lay Dying features the current lineup of Tim Lambesis, Chris Clancy, Don Vedda, Bill Hudson and Tim Yeung. The album was produced by Clancy and Lambesis, with “No Way Out” produced by Dusten Boles and featuring guest vocals from Immortal Disfigurement’s CJ McCreery.
The band will close out 2026 with the final North American dates of their “Shadows Are Security” run alongside The Curse Within. They’ll return to the road in February for another U.S. tour, this time with Immortal Disfigurement.
The 2027 run includes several Northeast dates, including Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey on February 19, Toad’s Place in New Haven on February 20 and Electric City in Buffalo on February 21.
