Black TarPoon drop “Somebody’s Watching Me” video

Texan hillbilly punks Black TarPoon have released a music video for their cover of Rockwell’s 1980s hit “Somebody’s Watching Me.” Black TarPoon have rearranged the song into a rootsy and soulful folk-punk stomp. The video is a clever and amusing tribute to the original that also has the band’s own distinctive “horror hellbilly” style stamped all over it.

The band commented: “This here is something we are super proud of. Our video for our cover of ‘Somebody’s Watching Me’, by Rockwell circa 1984. Starring Corpus Christi’s local radio legend, Monty Montana, this is our homage to the original video.

In further news, the band will also released their “Thad EP” on vinyl on Feb 5th.
