Black Tusk cancel remaining 2026 shows

Savannah, Georgia sludge metal act Black Tusk have announced that they are canceling all remaining live performances for 2026, including their previously scheduled August U.S. tour with Hoaxed.

In a statement shared on social media, the band explained that injuries affecting both members and fill-in touring musicians, along with some members taking personal time to focus on their families, have forced them to step away from the road.

“We hate to do this, but we gotta see to us right now,” the band shared. “We will be back in 2027 in a limited touring setup at first and in the meantime we are going to retreat to the studio to work on a follow up record to The Way Forward.”

Black Tusk thanked fans for their support throughout 2026 and over the past 21 years, adding that they look forward to returning to the stage when the time is right.

The band’s canceled dates include their aforementioned summer run, as well as all other scheduled performances for the remainder of the year. Black Tusk’s most recent album, The Way Forward, was released in 2024 via Season of Mist.
