Clutch turn their 2020 Festival Summer into a virtual event

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, many bands including the likes of Clutch were forced to postpone and/or cancel gigs across the globe. Today, the Frederick, Maryland heavy rockers have announced plans to turn their 2020 Festival Summer into a virtual event.

Clutch has reached out to all promoters of their originally scheduled European festival dates and proposed to release playlists on their Spotify channel of the sets they were set to perform on the respective days,” reads today’s official announcement.

The first playlist was created for ‘Ramblin’ Man Fair’ festival in the UK, and it can be accessed at: https://spoti.fi/38SjGyU.

Here are more confirmed playlists with their respective release dates:

‘Pol’And’Rock’ – Poland on July 20th
‘Metal Days’ – Slovenia on July 28th
‘Tsunami Festival’- Spain on Aug. 1st
‘Into The Grave’ – NL on Aug. 7th
‘Sziget Festival’ – Hungary on Aug. 11th
‘Poolbar’ – Austria on Aug. 13th
