Daughtry have announced their 20 Years Unplugged tour, a special acoustic run celebrating two decades of music.
The tour will kick off on October 12 in Troy, New York, and run through November 14 in Dallas, Texas, with stops in cities including Atlantic City, Huntington, Las Vegas, Anaheim, and San Antonio. Support on all dates will come from Buffalo-based singer-songwriter Ryan Perdz.
The upcoming trek will see frontman Chris Daughtry and company reimagine songs from throughout their career in a stripped-down setting, giving fans a chance to experience the band’s catalog in a more intimate atmosphere.
The announcement arrives on the heels of the release of Shock to the System (Deluxe) via Big Machine Rock. The expanded collection combines both parts of the band’s recent Shock to the System project and features additional live recordings from Daughtry’s latest era.
Known for hits like “It’s Not Over,” “Home,” “Over You,” and “Waiting for Superman,” Daughtry have remained one of rock’s most successful acts since emerging in the mid-2000s. The 20 Years Unplugged tour promises to showcase many of those fan favorites in a fresh acoustic format while celebrating the band’s 20-year journey.
Tickets go on sale June 19 at 10 AM local time, with artist presales and VIP packages beginning June 17.
