DragonForce to launch U.S. headlining trek this week

British power metal legends DragonForce will kick off their previously announced U.S. headlining tour this week.

The run starts tomorrow, March 5th in Mesa, Arizona, and hits eleven more markets before concluding in Brooklyn at Warsaw on March 21. The jaunt sees support from Unleash the Archers on all dates, and Visions of Atlantis in most cities.

Additionally and as recently reported: “The journey will see Alicia Vigil (Vigil Of War) handling bass and backing vocals for [DragonForce] while Aquiles Priester (Angra, Tony MacAlpine) will temporarily take over drum duties for Gee Anzalone, who was recently hospitalized for Myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle,” writes the band’s publicist.

Comments DragonForce guitarist Herman: “We will miss our brother Gee on the upcoming US tour, but health is most important. We wish Gee a speedy recovery and we know he will be back on tour with us soon. We want to thank our friend Aquiles for stepping up and helping us out on short notice.”

All tour dates can be viewed below, tickets are available here.
