Emperor announce first U.S. tour in over 15 years

Norwegian black metal legends Emperor have announced a string of U.S. tour dates for this summer, marking the band’s first stateside trek in a decade and a half. The run includes shows in Chicago, Brooklyn, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Anaheim. See the tour schedule below.

Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk USA tour dates announced. This will be Emperor’s first US tour in over 15 years. All work visas are already issued and the band is excited to finally return to the North American shores.

Emperor last toured the U.S. in 2007 when they performed select shows as part of their reunion tour. Emperor’s first show on U.S. soil since then took place just last year when the band crushed Psycho Las Vegas alongside Mercyful Fate, Suicidal Tendencies, Mayhem and others.
