Swedish folk metal band Fejd have released their fifth full-length album, Nifelheim, today through Black Lodge / Sound Pollution.
Alongside the album’s release, the band have shared a lyric video for its title track, “Nifelheim.”
The new record marks Fejd’s first full-length since 2016’s Trolldom and continues the band’s blend of metal with traditional Nordic folk music and acoustic instrumentation.
Nifelheim draws heavily from Nordic history, mythology and folklore, combining the band’s established folk sound with heavier arrangements across eight tracks.
