Foreigner will celebrate 50 years with a special four-show run across the New York metropolitan area in spring 2027.
Dubbed the 50th Anniversary Tour of New York, the trek will kick off April 27 at the Beacon Theatre in New York City, followed by stops at The Wellmont Theater in Montclair, New Jersey, The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester and Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair in Westbury.
The run was announced by Foreigner founding member Al Greenwood during the band’s sold-out August 21 concert at Jones Beach.
The upcoming shows will bring Foreigner back to the area where the band’s story began. Formed in New York by Mick Jones in 1976, the group released its self-titled debut album in March 1977.
“New York is where FOREIGNER began, so there could be no better place to celebrate 50 years of our music,” Jones said. “The songs have connected FOREIGNER with audiences for five decades, and these four shows will be a celebration of the fans who have been with us since the beginning.”
Foreigner’s catalog includes hits such as “I Want To Know What Love Is,” “Cold As Ice,” “Hot Blooded,” “Juke Box Hero,” “Urgent,” “Waiting For A Girl Like You,” “Double Vision” and “Feels Like The First Time.”
Various venue and ticketing presales begin September 1 and 2, with tickets for all four shows going on sale to the general public September 3 at 10 a.m. local time.
