Grab the new ‘Slay At Home’ fest charity comp

Virtual metal and art festival (in support of MusiCares and Global Giving) – ‘Slay At Home‘ – went down on May 29th + 30th via Metal Injection‘s YouTube and social channels.

The two-day event featured a slew of rock and metal artists (IE: members of Suicide Silence, Tesseract, Gwar, The Black Dahlia Murder, Darkest Hour, Twelve Foot Ninja and many more) who contributed with exclusive sets, collaborative music, and fresh commissioned tunes.

Today, a new ‘Slay At Home’ festival compilation EP has been released online in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Here’s more info from fest organizer Frank Godla:

I organized the Slay At Home Festival on the spirit of charitable giving and doing the right thing in the metal community. It fills my heart beyond words that thousands tuned in one week ago to give new artists a chance, and opened themselves to the causes at hand. But as the festival aired, another big cause that needs our attention took the world by storm.

Today, I’m happy to announce all four commissioned songs that debuted at Slay At Home have agreed to be part of a special compilation EP via Bandcamp, where 100% of the proceeds go to Black Lives Matter. This is just in time for Bandcamp day tomorrow [6/5], so grab em while it counts the most!

Don’t forget to send your love to the amazing artists on the comp!

The four-track effort features tunes from the likes of Dave Davidson (Revocation), Ben Weinman (ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan), Riley McShane (Allegaeon) and Roy Mayorga (Stone Sour). You can pick up the EP here and stream it below.
