Australian thrash metal band Harlott have announced their new album, Exsequiis, which will arrive September 11 via Metal Blade Records.
The band has also shared the album’s first single, “Trial By Liar,” along with a new music video. The track focuses on misinformation and the current state of truth in the modern world.
“Truth doesn’t appear to matter anymore and there aren’t any consequences for anything. There is a war on information raging and we yearn for the day when judgement is met on these perpetrators,” the band comments.
Exsequiis marks Harlott’s first full-length release since 2020’s Detritus of the Final Age. The album arrives as the Melbourne, Australia-based band celebrates 20 years since forming, continuing their blend of fast-paced thrash, aggressive riffs, and sharp social commentary.
The band will hit the road in Europe this September, beginning with an album release show on September 11 in Burghausen, Germany.
