(HED) P.E. have launched their own record label, Creator One Records, and are kicking off the new chapter with a new single, “Violent Girl.”
The track comes from the band’s upcoming album Relapse, due out in October, and arrives with an accompanying music video.
Frontman Jahred Gomes explained the song’s meaning: “Violent Girl is not a song about a girl! It’s an analogy, a metaphor. I’d rather the listener figure it out than just give away the secrets.”
Creator One Records is built around the label’s philosophy, “Created By The People. For The People,” with the band continuing its long-running DIY approach and maintaining creative control over its music.
(HED) P.E. will also hit the road this month with Nonpoint and Spineshank for the “Even More Outta Control Tour,” followed by European dates with Spineshank in October.
