Organizers of Hellfest NJ have confirmed a change of venue for the 2026 edition after months of planning complications involving the previously announced locations. According to a statement, the festival’s planning process has been underway for more than 18 months, but recent developments made it clear that the event would not be able to proceed at either of the original venues.
Faced with a choice between relocation or cancellation, organizers opted to continue the festival and secure a new site. Hellfest NJ 2026 will now take place at The Performing Arts Center in Carteret.
The event will remain indoors and will feature a number of logistical updates for attendees, including air conditioning, a parking garage located across the street, improved access to public transportation, and easier travel routes via Newark Airport. The venue will also permit re-entry, and there will be no barricade in place.
Additional amenities include downstairs bar and restaurant areas that will host free FIFA watch parties over the weekend, as well as expanded food options, including vegetarian and vegan offerings, along with water stations throughout the venue.
Hellfest NJ is scheduled to take place July 3–5, 2026, with the lineup unchanged. Tickets are available via Hellfest.com.
