Ice Nine Kills will bring new music to Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights this fall with “Terror Tram starring Art the Clown.” The event opens September 3 and runs on select nights through November 1.
The returning Terror Tram will feature Art the Clown from the Terrifier films as its host. In the new experience, Art takes over the historic Universal backlot after realizing it’s too early for Christmas, turning the tram ride into his own twisted holiday celebration.
Ice Nine Kills will create new music for the experience, including dark takes on classic Christmas songs. Art will also appear throughout the theme park, giving guests more chances to run into the character after leaving the backlot.
The collaboration follows Ice Nine Kills’ work on “A Work of Art,” their song from Terrifier 3. The track’s music video featured Art the Clown actor David Howard Thornton and has collected nearly 60 million streams.
“We are forever honored that Terrifier writer/director Damien Leone and his team invited us to play in their sandbox of bloodshed,” says vocalist Spencer Charnas. “Halloween Horror Nights is among our favorite destinations each season, and our fans love it, too. This is yet another natural step forward in our unnatural world of horror.”
Ice Nine Kills have continued working with major horror franchises in recent years, including “Twisting The Knife” featuring Mckenna Grace from Scream 7, “Hell or High Slaughter (Grave Diggers Pt. 2)” from Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, and “Play Dead,” created for Dead by Daylight’s 10th anniversary.
