In This Moment have released a cinematic music video for their new single “I Want To Believe,” featuring Dayseeker vocalist Rory Rodriguez.
The track appears on In This Moment’s ninth studio album, Witch, which arrives today, August 28, via Better Noise Music. “I Want To Believe” pairs Maria Brink with Rodriguez, following the two bands touring together last year.
Speaking about the song, Brink said: “‘I Want To Believe’ is the flicker of light you protect as shadows close in. It’s reaching for a hand that’s slipping away, knowing endings are inevitable, yet still clinging for the glow of hope.”
She continued: “It’s the quiet fight to believe in light while the world shifts, knowing that even as one chapter fades, another will dawn.”
Rodriguez added: “We had a chance to tour with In This Moment last year and they were so kind to us. I was very excited about the idea of us creating something together musically and I think people are going to love it.”
“I Want To Believe” is one of several collaborations featured on Witch. The 11-track record also includes Kim Dracula on “Heretic” and Kat Von D on In This Moment’s rendition of Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick In The Wall.”
The album was previously previewed with “Crawl” and “Sleeping With The Enemy.”
Discussing Witch, Brink said the record represents a period of personal change.
“WITCH is my declaration of inner transformation,” she explained. “It’s about embracing the duality within — taking pain, persecution, and struggle — and alchemizing them into strength and power.”
She added: “The album reflects both ancient trials and my own journey — where being a ‘witch’ means being a creator, connected to the universe, manifesting my own reality.”
In This Moment will hit the road this fall, including a run on the Taste of Chaos tour alongside Hollywood Undead, I See Stars, Vana and Melrose Avenue. The trek kicks off September 22 in Charlotte and concludes October 26 in Anaheim.
