Lamb of God have shared (via GuitarWorld) an in-studio guitar playthrough for their new single “Checkmate,” which appears on the band’s impending self-titled album (due May 8 – pre-order).

Lamb of God are set to join up with Megadeth, Trivium and In Flames for a summer North American romp. The band will also tackle Europe and the UK (w/ Kreator, Power Trip) this spring, and will perform additional U.S. shows in the fall.
