North Carolina deathcore outfit Larcenia Roe have released a new standalone single, “Sandy Cheeks,” via Unique Leader Records.
The track arrives with an official music video and follows the band’s critically praised 2025 debut full-length, Extraction.
According to the band, “Sandy Cheeks” tackles U.S. military spending and government priorities.
“‘Sandy Cheeks’ questions the United States’ defense spending on foreign conflict,” Larcenia Roe said. “Since 2001, the U.S. has spent roughly $8 trillion on post-9/11 wars and related costs… Meanwhile, the Pentagon has never passed a full financial audit, and the national debt has climbed to more than $39 trillion.”
The new single arrives just days before Larcenia Roe hit the road with AngelMaker and Ingested for an extensive North American tour, beginning July 31 in Red Deer, Alberta and running through August 31 in Portland, Oregon.
