Marilyn Manson has released an expanded edition of his latest album, One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2, featuring the previously unreleased song “You Can’t Die Young.”
Available digitally now through Nuclear Blast Records, the expanded release brings the album to 10 tracks, with “You Can’t Die Young” serving as its newest addition.
One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 originally arrived earlier this month and follows 2024’s One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1. The record was co-written and co-produced with longtime collaborator Tyler Bates and includes the previously released singles “Exit Wound” and “Front Toward Enemy.”
The album also features “Unalive,” which was accompanied by an official music video directed by Anthony Silva.
Manson commented on the latest chapter:
I am proud to give you the second chapter of One Assassination Under God.
This completes my story.
I used each stone that was thrown at me to sharpen my edges. I outgrew purgatory and carved these songs into the skin of the world. As you listen I hope it forms a scar that you cannot forget.
Fans can also visit the virtual One Assassination Under God art exhibition, which pairs a collection of original visual works with music and audio commentary from Manson. The exhibition has been updated with additional commentary for “You Can’t Die Young.”
The expanded edition arrives amid Manson’s ongoing North American co-headlining tour with Rob Zombie, featuring The Hu and Orgy on select dates. The run continues through September, with Manson set to follow it with headlining shows and festival appearances this fall.
