Metallica are extending their M72 World Tour into 2027 with a new run of North American stadium shows.
The 12-date trek kicks off May 8 at BC Place in Vancouver and will take the band through cities across the U.S. and Canada before wrapping up June 19 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. Limp Bizkit and Avatar will provide support throughout the run.
The new dates follow Metallica’s upcoming Life Burns Faster residency at Sphere in Las Vegas, which runs from October 2026 through March 2027.
Launched in April 2023, the M72 World Tour has so far included 99 shows across 26 countries, with nearly five million fans attending. The newly announced leg will bring the tour to a dozen cities it hasn’t previously visited during the current run.
Fan club presales begin September 21 at 10 a.m. local time, with additional presales following throughout the week. General ticket sales start September 25 at 10 a.m. local time.
As with previous M72 shows, a portion of proceeds from every ticket sold will benefit local charities through Metallica’s All Within My Hands foundation.
