Ministry release final album ‘Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery),’ share “Crickets” video

Industrial metal veterans Ministry have released their seventeenth and final studio album, Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery), through Cleopatra Records. To mark the release, the band have shared a music video for their new single, “Crickets,” directed by Dean Karr (Korn, Queens of the Stone Age, Ozzy Osbourne).

The album brings Ministry’s 45-year recording career to a close, with frontman Al Jourgensen confirming that he is ready to move on after decades of music and touring.

“I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished,” Jourgensen said. “I’m amazed at the path that it’s taken, from With Sympathy to where we’re at today, and all points in between. It’s been quite a ride, but I’m completely at peace with the fact that it’s done.”

The new single, “Crickets,” addresses the rise of fascism and the dangers of remaining silent in the face of political and social unrest. It follows previously released tracks “Singularity,” “Burned Out” and “We Hate.”

Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery) features 10 tracks, including a final collaboration with longtime former Ministry member Paul Barker on the closing song, “We’re Still Here.” The album also features contributions from guitarists Monte Pittman and Cesar Soto, bassist Paul D’Amour, keyboardist John Bechdel and drummer Pepe Clarke Magaña.

The record is available digitally and in several physical formats, including CD, vinyl and cassette. The song “The White Man Lied” is exclusive to the CD and digital editions.

Although Ministry’s recording career is coming to an end, the band will continue performing into 2027 with an international farewell tour. Their Goodbye Europe Tour, featuring special guests Die Krupps, begins April 2 in Utrecht, Netherlands, and concludes May 1 in Helsinki, Finland. A full U.S. farewell tour will be announced at a later date.

Before then, Ministry will perform several shows in Australia this December, including appearances at the Good Things Festival.
