Misery Index share “Your Pain Is Nothing” lyric video ahead of ‘Overthrow’ reissue

Misery Index have released a lyric video for “Your Pain Is Nothing,” taken from the upcoming 25th anniversary vinyl reissue of their 2001 debut EP, Overthrow. The reissue arrives December 15, 2026, through Time To Kill Records.

Originally self-released on CD through the band’s Anarchos Records label, Overthrow introduced Misery Index’s blend of death metal, grindcore and hardcore, alongside their politically charged lyrics.

The new vinyl edition features the EP’s original five tracks, including a cover of Terrorizer’s “Dead Shall Rise,” as well as three bonus songs originally released on the band’s 2002 split with Commit Suicide.

Frontman Jason Netherton commented on the newly released lyric video: “‘Your Pain is Nothing’ is a deep cut classic we decided to push forward for this timely 25th anniversary rerelease of our debut EP ‘Overthrow’. It’s a longer track that weaves through blasting verses and an even more epic chorus, standing out as a favourite track among many old school fans. We are stoked to present it now on this restored and specially mastered for vinyl version, out soon on Time to Kill Records!”

The reissue marks the first time the recordings have received a dedicated vinyl master, handled by Virtalähde Mastering.

Reflecting on the EP’s legacy, Netherton added: “It’s been a long time since we released this back in 2001 yet it’s awesome to see how much of an impact it’s had, and its staying power has been inspiring – we often get requests for these songs to this day and we are stoked that it’s finally getting the proper treatment with a fresh vinyl master from Time to Kill.”

Pre-orders for the anniversary edition are available through Time To Kill Records and the band’s Bandcamp page.
