UPDATE 2: New dates for 2021 have been confirmed.
UPDATE: The entire tour has been officially POSTPONED.
The fate of the much talked about Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett ‘The Stadium Tour’ is set to be officially decided on June 1st, according to the Crüe.
Though, the planned Cincinnati (7/2) and Chicago (8/28) shows have already been postponed, confirms Bring Back Glam. “Some folks with tickets received emails yesterday about show postponement,” reports the outlet today (5/16). “It looks like ticket holders for the Cincinnati and Chicago shows received postponement alerts. Now it is possible these dates were postponed because of Major League Baseball.” They also note that the baseball season is expected to start July 4th weekend.
Here are those reportedly postponed dates again:
07/02/2020 – Cincinnati, OH @ Great American Ball Park
08/28/2020 – Chicago, IL @ Wrigley Field
Motley Crue recently noted that they are “currently weighing all options and are awaiting further direction from the powers that be” before officially commenting on the status of the trek. The outing is technically set to embark starting June 18th in Jacksonville, FL, and with many states still in ‘lockdown’ mode with restrictions (including those on mass gatherings) still very much active to help stop the COVID-19 outbreak, well, let’s just say it’s not looking good for Crue Heads.
