German black metal act Nargaroth have announced new reissues of two releases from their early catalog, Geliebte des Regens and Unity (Rasluka Part I + Part II), arriving October 23 via Season of Mist Underground Activists.
The material featured across both reissues was recorded during the same sessions in June 2001 but originally surfaced across three separate releases. The upcoming editions bring the related recordings back together, with Unity combining Rasluka Part II, originally released in 2002, and Rasluka Part I, which followed in 2004, into a single release.
Geliebte des Regens, originally released in 2003, is built around lengthy, repetitive guitar passages and a recurring rain motif that runs throughout the album both musically and lyrically.
Unity brings the two Rasluka releases together in the sequence Nargaroth founder René “Ash” Wagner originally intended. The material was written in memory of a former bandmate who died in 1995.
Both releases will be available digitally, on CD and in multiple vinyl configurations. Pre-orders are available now through Season of Mist.
The reissues follow the release of Nargaroth’s latest studio album, Apocalyptic Steel, which is out now through Season of Mist Underground Activists.
