Neurosis have announced several new live performances in support of their surprise new album, An Undying Love For A Burning World.
The band’s first new album in a decade arrived unexpectedly in March and quickly became a standout release in their influential catalog. Alongside the album announcement, Neurosis revealed their return to the stage after seven years, beginning with a special appearance at Fire In The Mountains in Montana on July 25.
Following that performance, Neurosis will continue their return with a newly announced appearance at Hellbender by The Orange Peel in Asheville, North Carolina on September 5, joining Acid Bath, Melvins, and Kylesa.
The band will then return home to the Bay Area for two special shows at San Francisco’s historic Fillmore on October 16 and 17. Tickets for the Fillmore performances go on sale this Friday at 10 AM PDT.

An Undying Love For A Burning World marks a new chapter for Neurosis, featuring Aaron Turner (Sumac, Isis) joining Steve Von Till, Jason Roeder, Dave Edwardson, and Noah Landis. The album was recorded by Scott Evans at Studio Litho in Seattle and mixed at Antisleep Audio in Oakland.
The band describes their return not as a reunion, but as a continuation of their creative journey: “not a reunion – we never broke up.”
