Porno for Pyros release farewell song "Fingernail"

Porno for Pyros release final song ever “Fingernail”

Los Angeles-based alternative rock band Porno For Pyros has unveiled their final song titled “Fingernail,” available for streaming below. The new song follows the release of the fresh singles “Agua” and “Little Me,” all of which were recorded after their reunion.

Porno for Pyros embarked on their final tour ever, named ‘Horns, Thorns En Halos,’ earlier this year. They played over 15 shows across the U.S., culminating with a final performance at The Wellmont Theater in Montclair, NJ, on March 10th.

All the mentioned new tracks feature the original lineup of Porno for Pyros: singer Perry Farrell, guitarist Peter DiStefano, drummer Stephen Perkins, and bassist Martyn LeNoble.

During their farewell tour, Mike Watt, who had performed with the band in the late ’90s, stepped in for LeNoble, who announced his amicable departure from the band late last year.

Regarding the release of “Fingernail,” the band say:
It was originally supposed to come before the tour, we tried, but even the best laid plans don’t always work out. It’s a beautiful song, one that we hope resonates with you as it does with us.”
